Stripping away, necessary loss, and the honesty of collapse.
Upright Meaning
The Landslide strips the mountain — removal, stripping away, and the collapse of what no longer supported life. This card brings loss, but loss as pruning: what falls away was already hollow. Let it go with dignity. The mountain remains, and the new slope is more honest.
Reversed Meaning
Reversed, the ground is settling — the worst of the collapse is over, and the rubble is beginning to show the shape of new terrain. Do not rebuild on the old footprint. Survey what remains, and build only what the new ground can hold.
